VISIT BY A RESEARCHER FROM NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC RESEARCH(NISER),IBADAN.

On Monday 28th May 2012, Mr. Adebayo from NISER Ibadan paid a visit to the Ogun State Desk Office,
to sensitize on the intended study by NISER on " Technology Diffusion and Agricultural Transformation-
The Case of NERICA in Nigeria".
Today Tuesday 5th of June 2012, Mr. Adebayo came to the Desk Office, and discussed with the ten(10) NERICA Extension Agents(EAs)
the modality for the conduct of the Study .He went through the 8-page questionnaire with the EAs,Desk Officer, the Head of Extension (Ms. Ayansanwo ), and  M.& E Officer
 who is to supervise the Study/EAs.
The Study is to be conducted in 2 Local Government Areas(LGA)- Obafemi-Owode and Ewekoro, and 3 Villages per Local Government. Two(2) out of each 3 Villages must be where Participatory Variety Selection (PVS)
was carried out, while the 3rd village must be a non-PVS village, which must be between 15-20km away from a PVS Village.The conduct of the Study is for a period of 2 week, while filled Questionnaires are to
be returned to the Desk Office on Friday 15th June, 2012.
