RETIREMENT OF MR.I.OPHILLIPS( P.M., OGUN ADP)

Mr. I.O. Phillips, the Programme Manager, Ogun State ADP retired from active Service of the Ogun State Civil Service, while Mr.I.A. Onasanya took over the baton of leadership as the Acting Programme Manager.
Until his appointment, Mr. I.A. Onasanya was the Director of Planing, Monitoring & Evaluation of the Ogun State ADP

VISIT BY HANIGHA NIG. LTD TO OGUN STATE MNRDP DESK OFFICE

On 21st of Sept. 2011, by 3.00pm, Engr. Tunde Abdulazeez ( Supervisor)  and Mr. Fred Aboagye from Hanigha Nig. Ltd visited the Ogun State MNRDP Desk office. The purpose of the visit was
to verify the mixed-up identified in the diesel engines allocated to Rice Threshers  and Millers across the 6 States.  It was discovered that a diesel engine  195 was mistakenly
attached to the a Rice Miller allocated to Ogun State Desk office. Rather, a diesel Engine 1110 or 1115 ought to be allocated.

TRAINING ON TOOL HANDLING

The training which was slated for 18th and 19th of September 2011 immediately followed the Data Capturing Training,and was held at the Ekiti ADP Office at Ikole-Ekiti.  The Desk officer  ( Mr.A.O.Osiyoye), the M.& E. Officer ( Mr.D.O.Onigbinde),and the Head of OGADEP Agro processing Unit ( Mr. Tunde Obembe) participated with representatives from the rest five (5) participating
States of Ekiti, Ondo, Taraba, Kaduna & Nazarawa. Also present were officials of the MNRDP Hq Abuja.
It exposed all participants to the mode of operation of Rice Thresher and Reaper.
 A practical demonstration on the use of these equipments/machines was carried out on a 3.5ha of Nerica-8 Rice planted by Ekiti ADP
 through Direct Multiplication efforts.

Participants at the PCR Study Data Capturing Trainning held From 14th- 17th Sept, 2011, at Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Nigeria -

DATA CAPTURING TRAINNING


The Desk officer, Mr. A.O. Osiyoye , and Mr. D.O. Onigbinde ( M.& E. Officer,  ) participated with other Desk Officers and M.& E. Officers
in a  PCR Data Capturing Traing, from 14th to 17th September, 2011. The Training which was organized by the MNRDP Hq Abuja was hosted by the Ekiti State ADP,  with
venue shifted from the ADP office to Fabian Hotel.
Each day activities started with opening prayers from a christain and a muslim. Special prayers  were also offered for the Kaduna Desk officer, and Mr. Phillip( Driver)
 who had motor accidents.
A welcome address was delivered by the Ekiti ADP’s P.M.( Mr. Fadare). This was followed with opening remarks by  Dr. D.L.Daura ( NPC). Participants included all
Desk officers & M.& E. Officers from the 6 participating States of  Taraba, Kaduna, Nazarawa, Ogun, Ondo & Ekiti State. Also in attendance were Mrs. G.O.Martins ( MNRDP, Accountant), Adekunle Adeoye( MNRDP Procurement officer), Ali S.O.( MNRDP M.& E. Officer), Mrs.Obe Ene ( MNRDP Hq Extension Officer), Mrs. Ilesanmi (Accountant,Ekiti ADP).

The main reason for the T.O.T. Training was elucidated by the Dr. A.O. Adejobi ( N.O.O., MNRDP Hq). The MNRDP Accountant also briefed the house on the issue of outstanding allowance, which was linked with non-payment of 2011 counterpart funds by the Federal Govt. Also, the need for Trainning of Desk officers & M.& E. Officers was seriously
emphasised by all participants.
 After, the opening ceremony, which was followed by group photographs, the technical session which was coordinated by Mr. Eugene Anakwe ( Resource Person) commenced with the use of designed Data Capturing Packgage for the PCR Study. The technical session ran through all the days of the Training.

Road Revaluation Mission, 0911

MNRDP RURAL FEEDER ROAD REVALUATION MISSION


A team on MNRDP Abuja, on the revaluation of Nerica
Rural Feeder Road arrived Ogun State MNRDP Desk
office on Wednesday 7th of September, 2011. The
Team comprised the following:
Mrs. G.O.Usman ( MNRDP Accountant)
Mr. Adekunle Adeoye ( MNRDP Procurement officer)and
Mr. S.O.Ali ( M.& E. Officer, MNRDP Abuja).
The aim of the mission is to do on-the-spot revaluation of level of the Road
contractor's work.
The team was officially welcomed at Ogun State Desk
Office by the Mr.I.O.Phillips(OGADEP Programme Manager)
other officers at the Desk office, Engr.Tunde Faboyo( G.M., Tundis Nig. Ltd),
 and Engr.Olakunle Olaniran( Supervising Engineer).
The entire team immediately proceeded to the Roads sites with Digital Camera for photographs,and
Cam-Coder to record revaluation activities. The revaluation activities was also conducted on the
8th of Sept, 2011, while the exercise was wrapped up on the 9th of Sept.2011 with a meeting at
the office of OGADEP's P.M.
At the end of the whole revaluation exercisethe MNRDP Team from Abuja expressed satisfaction with
the work done by Tundis Nig.Ltd, and gave kudos to both Enginer Faboyo & Engr.Olaniran.
